New Delhi: Manchester United drew their last game in Group F with Roma on Wednesday. Both clubs, however, were through to the round of 16.
Manchester United opened their score with a neat header from Gerard Pique in the 34th minute of the game. It stayed 1-0 in favour of the Red Devils till the 71st minute.
But Roma's Brazilian import, Mancini, after being set up, did well to foil the United defenders and scored the equaliser. And that's how the scores remained till the end of the game.
Arsenal also recorded a win to finish second in Group H. They beat Steaua Bucarest at home at the Emirates.
A cross from Sagna set up Diaby well. He finished it in style to take the Gunners 1-0 up in the eighth minute of the game. They made it 2-0 in the 42nd minute when Niklas Bendtner neatly slotted in goal No. 2.
The only consolation for Bucarest on the night was their lone goal. Arsenal go through to the last 16 behind Sevilla.
It was a disappointing night for Rangers, who lost 3-0 to Lyon and failing to qualify for the next stage. Inter Milan, Barcelona and Sevilla finished top of their groups, and have gone through to the knockout stages.
