London: Harry Redknapp has denied rumours that he has been offered a new contract to remain as Tottenham manager.
The 65-year-old coach has long been the firm favourite to land the England job following Fabio Capello's resignation in early February.
However, although he revealed that he speaks to the chairman Daniel Levy regularly, Redknapp refuted claims that a new offer to stay at White Hart Lane is on the table.
He told reporters: "I speak to Daniel every day and he wants me to stay at the club.
"But at the moment he hasn't made me an offer of a contract and I haven't pushed him to either."
Tottenham are 5/1 with Paddy Power to be drawing at half-time and winning at full-time when they play Everton on Saturday.
Redknapp also rejected questions on whether he had discussed future transfer targets with Levy during their meetings.
"We've never discussed spending money in the summer, or amounts of money,” the former Portsmouth boss added.
"It's never come up in conversation at all."
Tottenham travel to Everton on Saturday although Aaron Lennon and Michael Dawson will miss the Premier League tie after picking up injuries in Spurs’ 3-1 win over Stevenage in their fifth-round FA Cup replay on Wednesday.
