London: Tottenham cut Leicester's lead at the top of the Premier League back to five points on Sunday after Harry Kane scored twice in a 3-0 win over Bournemouth.

Tottenham took the lead after less than a minute when Kane turned in Kyle Walker's cross from the right.

The dominant host doubled their lead in the 16th with Kane's low shot past Bournemouth goalkeeper Artur Boruc after Dele Alli slid a ball through. Kane now has 21 league goals this season.

Tottenham had a goal disallowed when Alli fired into the net but Kane had been offside when he flicked the ball on.

Mauricio Pochettino's side got a third goal seven minutes after halftime when Christian Eriksen drove home the rebound after Boruc palmed out Kane's shot.
