Spanish radio station 'Cadena SER' has reported the transfer for a club record fee of 26 million pounds.
Valencia striker Roberto Soldado has signed on the dotted line for Tottenham Hotspur for a club record fee of £26 million, Spanish radio station Cadena SER has reported.
Soldado returned from holiday on Saturday morning, after which the move was confirmed following Spurs' decision to pay the £26m release clause.
According to Cadena SER, Spurs' technical director Franco Baldini confirmed the deal on phone with Valencia president Amadeo Salvo, which opened the White Hart Lane gates for the 28-year-old Spain international.
The Spaniard is expected to travel to London on Monday to undergo a medical. Tottenham will reportedly pay £13 million upfront and the remainder at a later stage.
