- Use the search bar at the top and type "has:attachment". Press "Enter" or tap "Search" to see the results.
- Make sure there's no space between "has:"" and "attachment".
- If you want to search by file name (such as a Word document), use "filename: .docx" and press "Enter".
Using Mobile
Open the Gmail app. This looks like a multi-colored M with a white background. If you're logged into Gmail, you should see your inbox. If you have multiple accounts added to the app, tap your profile icon to select a new email account, or tap ☰ and then All Inboxes.
Tap the search bar. You can find this at the top of the screen.
Enter has:attachment and tap Search. This will filter your search results to include attachments. Make sure there's no space between "has:" and "attachment". You should see the results load from newest to oldest. Tap an email to view it.
Using Desktop
Go to https://mail.google.com/ in a web browser. If you aren't already logged into your account, enter your email address and password to do so now. If needed, you can recover a forgotten password.
Click the search bar. You can find this at the top-center of your inbox.

You should see the results load from newest to oldest. Click an email to view it. If you know the file name of the attachment, such as .Docx for a Word document, you can type "filename:.docx".
