How to Check Your Version of iOS

Checking Your Phone’s Version

Open the Settings app.

Tap on General.

Tap About.

Scroll down to “Version”. Doing so will allow you to see your current version of iOS on the right side of the tab.

Checking For An Update

Open the Settings app.

Tap on General.

Tap Software Update. Doing so will bring you to a page where you can see your current version of iOS and any available updates. If your phone is up to date, a message will appear saying “Your software is up to date.”
