How to Divide Two Columns in Excel: Easy Step-by-Step Tutorial

• Locate the two columns you want to divide and select the column where you want the division results to go.
• Type "=A1/B1" in the formula bar, where the two placeholders are replaced with your two cells from different columns.
• Press Ctrl+↵ Enter (Windows) or ⌘ Cmd+⏎ Return (Mac) to apply the formula to all cells in the selected column.

Open your project in Excel. You can either open your project within Excel by navigating to File > Open or by right-clicking the file in Finder and selecting Open With > Excel.
