Even a tiny speck of ink stain can make a men's suit lose its elegance. When an accident happens and you end up with an ink-stained business suit don't try to remove the stain hastily at the risk of damaging your suit more. Always read the makers clothing care label first on your suit to make sure you do not apply any product that can damage the fabric of your suit. Do the steps below only when you are very sure that your suit's material can handle the process. If not, let the professionals remove the ink stain for you. It is best to deal with the stain the minute it happens. A fresh ink stain is easier to get rid of than a dried one. Before trying to remove the ink stain, test the stain lifter on an inside seam or hidden area of the suit to make sure it doesn't damage the fabric.

Steps

Lay your men's suit on a flat surface.

Put a cloth under the stained area to protect the other layer of the suit from getting stained.

Blot the excess ink with a clean, white cloth. Blot only and do not rub because rubbing can cause the stain to spread.

Spray the stained area liberally with an aerosol hairspray. Let it sit for about 1 minute. Hairspray helps remove ink because it has high alcohol content.

Blot the affected area with a damp white cloth to absorb the ink. Again, make sure to blot only and do not rub the fabric. Repeat the spraying and blotting process until the cloth is not getting any more ink. Change the cloth when it is saturated with ink so it won't re-stain the suit.
