Using the Settings App
Open your iPhone or iPad's Settings. Find and tap the iPhone Settings App Icon icon on your home screen to open Settings.
Scroll down and tap Music. This option is listed next to a musical note icon towards the middle of the Settings menu. It will open your Music options on a new page.
Tap Volume Limit under "PLAYBACK." This option limits the maximum volume output of your iPhone or iPad. You can change it here if it's set too low.
Slide the MAX VOLUME slider to the right. This will increase the maximum volume you can get from your speakers. You can use the volume buttons on the side of your iPhone or iPad's casing, and turn up the volume.
Tap the Android 7 Expand Left button on the top-left. This will take you back to the Music menu.
Tap EQ under "PLAYBACK." This will open your equalizer preset options.
Select Late Night. This preset will give you an extra volume boost. You can now play everything a little louder in your speakers.
Using Spotify
Open Spotify on your iPhone or iPad. The Spotify icon looks like three black sound waves in a green circle. You can find it on your home screen or in an app folder.
Tap Home on the bottom-left. This button looks like a house icon on a navigation bar at the bottom. It will open your library menu.
Tap the white gear icon. It's on the top-right. This will open the Settings menu.
Tap Playback on the menu. This will open your volume and output settings.
Select Loud under "Volume level." This will play all your music louder in Spotify.
Tap Equalizer. This will open your equalizer settings on a new page.
Drag and slide all the equalizer buttons upwards. Tap and hold any of the circles on the equalizer graph, and move it up. This will give you a louder volume in all frequency channels, and provide an extra boost to your Spotify playback.
