How to Make Pear Vodka
How to Make Pear Vodka
Steeping pears in vodka will infuse ordinary vodka with sweet pear flavor. The finished product will have an off-white, slightly cloudy appearance.
Ingredients

Cut each pear into 4 wedges and remove the core using a paring knife.

Sterilize a large airtight glass jar by washing the jar in the dishwasher or filling the jar with boiling water.

Place the pears in the jar.

Pour the vodka over the pears and seal the jar.

Place the jar in a cool, dry place for at least 2 weeks.

Pour the vodka from the infusion jar into clean bottles or jars. Make sure to use a cheesecloth as a strainer. Discard the pears in either your garbage bin or compost pile or eat them immediately. If you try to store them, then they will turn brown.

Seal the bottles or jars and store them in your refrigerator until you are ready to use them.

What's your reaction?
