Log in to your Instagram account. Go to www.instagram.com in your web browser and log in with your account, if you haven't already done so.
Navigate to the account that you want to unfollow. Use the search bar to find the user. You can also use the “following” list from your profile to find the person.
Click on the “following” icon. You will see this black coloured icon near the Message option. When you tap on it, the confirmation box will pop-up on your screen.
Click on the “Unfollow” option. Once you've unfollowed them, the Following icon will change to Follow.
That's it! Users won't be notified when you unfollow them. Also, you can follow them again in anytime by clicking on the Follow button. Done!
