Telugu movie Aadikeshava hit the theatres on November 24. Billed as an action drama, the movie has created quite a hype amongst the fans. Special premiere shows were aired all over the Telugu-speaking states a day before its release. Now, audiences who have watched the movie have rushed to the micro-blogging site, X, formerly known as Twitter.

Aadikeshava stars Sreeleela and Panja Vaisshnav Tej in the lead and reportedly, Sreeleela is the main crowd-puller and Panja Vaisshnav Tej is comparatively new to the films. Sreeleela will be playing a dominating character in the movie. In an interview, she revealed that she will be portraying the role of a millennial diva who is overconfident and brash in nature. However, what forms the crux of the movie is how she decides to come to terms with her life after a major challenge.

Directed by Srikanth N Reddy, Aadikeshava is backed by Sai Soujanya and Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sitara Entertainments and Fortune Four Movies. The movie has become the buzz of the town post its release. The movie marks Panja Vaisshnav Tej’s first mass movie in the commercial genre. His action element and dance have left the audience quite impressed.

A user wrote, “1st half: Some Oneliners (thumbs up emoji), Chitrala song (thumbs up emoji), Background Music in some areas (thumbs up emoji), Sreeleela’s Dance and Screen presence (thumbs up emoji). Okayish 1st half. 2nd half: Climax Action scene (thumbs up emoji), background music in a few parts (thumbs up emoji), nothing interesting in the screenplay. Below average 2nd half. Overall: Below Average. 2/5.”

Another user gave the movie a 3.5 rating out of 5. He pointed out the positives by saying that Vaisshnav Tej and Sreeleela’s pairing, story screenplay direction, songs and background music were really good. He also appreciated the action sequences, the unforeseen twist and the climax fight. However, as per the user, the story seemed to be regular.

An X user called the movie “outdated” and said to “skip it.”

Judging from the reviews, it can be said that the movie has opened to mixed views from the audience. While some claimed the story to be very ordinary, others loved the background music. Apart from Panja Vaisshna Tej and Sreeleela, the movie also features Joju George.
