While hosting the launch event of the song Leelammo from the movie Adikeshava, Suma casually commented about media personnel and photographers having snacks. It was not received well by a section of the attendees. They later asked Suma to address this issue and ask for an apology.
Adikeshava stars Panja Vaishnav Tej and Srileela and is directed by Srikanth Reddy.
Suma casually advised them to complete their tasks promptly and avoid snacking as though it was their evening meal.

“Hello to all media friends. Understandably, the comments I made at the event today bothered you. I sincerely apologize. I know how hard you work. You all and I have been travelling together for several years. Hope you will forgive me as a family member,” said Suma in the video.
