Tharun Bhascker's Crime Comedy Keedaa Cola Makes Its OTT Debut On This Platform

Tharun Bhascker’s film, Keedaa Cola, premiered globally in theaters on November 3 and is now streaming on Aha Video. Starting today, Aha Gold subscribers can access it, while regular Aha Video subscribers will gain access from tomorrow, December 29.

Before its release, the movie generated significant excitement and enjoyed a strong opening in Hyderabad and the USA. However, due to mixed reviews, its performance in other regions was adversely impacted, resulting in less impressive overall numbers. Despite this, the film managed to garner decent figures in Hyderabad and the USA. Now, viewers are eagerly anticipating Keedaa Cola’s OTT release.

Keedaa Cola boasts a cast including renowned actors such as Brahmanandam, Chaitanya Rao, Rag Mayur, Raghu Ram, Jeevan Kumar, Vishnu Oi, and more, portraying diverse roles. The film was produced by VG Sainma and presented by Rana Daggubati, with Vivek Sagar as the music director.

The storyline centres on Jeevan (Jeevan Kumar), a disgraced politician eager to rise to power. Desperate for success, he turns to his recently released brother Naidu (Tharun Bhascker), who suggests an unconventional plan. Simultaneously, Vaastu (Chaitanya Rao) and Lancham (Rag Mayur), weary of misfortune, discover a cockroach in a cola bottle and decide to exploit the situation by suing the beverage company for quick financial gain.

During its release, Keedaa Cola emerged as a box office dominator, featuring a stellar cast including Brahmanandam, Chaitanya Rao Madadi, Raghu Ram, and director Tharun Bhascker. The film, hitting theatres on November 3, 2023, garnered widespread acclaim, particularly for its exceptional comedy content, resonating well with the audience.

Keedaa refers to a six-legged creature, while Cola is the soft drink brand. The poster cleverly displays the soft drink bottle cap as the focal point, featuring the title. The crime aspect is hinted at with blood, and at the bottom, a creature is intriguingly depicted. The makers promise a unique experience of crime comedy with the tagline, “Experience crime comedy like never before…”
