Upon its release, the movie received a positive response from the audience. If the positive response continues, then this would be yet another blockbuster by Ravi Teja, after Waltair Veerayya. Fans felt that the movie would make huge box office collections, others raved about the action, especially the first fight sequel and the background music of the movie. There were a few who criticised the movie’s songs and its second part, citing it as a bit lengthy.
