When Prabhas Gifted His Mentor A Gold Watch; Old Video Viral

Telugu star Prabhas is known for his acting prowess and kind nature. Despite attaining pan-India stardom, Prabhas maintains a grounded demeanour, garnering respect from fans and colleagues alike. His humility and regard for elders contribute to his humble personality. Sometime back, Prabhas gifted a beautiful gold watch to his mentor, Satyanand, on the latter’s birthday. Satyanand, a distinguished acting coach, has played a pivotal role in shaping the careers of several successful actors including Bunny, Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, and Prabhas.

The video which was shared in 2021 is yet again taking the internet by storm. In the video, Prabhas is seen gifting a watch to Satyanand as a token of gratitude for his guidance. He jests about the challenge of finding a watch with a small dial suitable for his teacher’s wrist. Prabhas playfully advises Satyanand to take care of the gift and mentions the shop’s address to replace the chain if necessary.

Prabhas is best known for films including Baahubali: The Beginning, and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. Now, he is slated to appear in the action thriller film Salaar, directed by Prashanth Neel. The movie features an ensemble cast, including Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, and others in key roles. Produced by Vijay Kirgandur under Hombale Films, the film’s music is composed by Ravi Basrur, and Bhuvan Gowda serves as the cinematographer.

Prabhas is also set to feature in Nag Ashwin’s forthcoming science fiction film, Kalki 2898 AD, alongside an impressive cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, Disha Patani, and more. Produced by C Aswani Dutt for Vyjayanthi Movies, the film’s music is composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The anticipated release date for the film is early 2024.

Reports suggest that Prabhas is reportedly earning a remuneration of Rs 150 crore for his role in the upcoming film Kalki 2898 AD. If confirmed, this places Prabhas among the highest-paid actors in Indian cinema. Following Salaar, Prabhas is slated to star in another action film titled Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. He is also working on a project with Sitaram fame director Hanu Raghavapudi.
