Terrorists lobbed a grenade at an Army convoy in Baramulla, missing the target but injuring 13 civillians.
New Delhi: Just four days ahead of Republic Day, terrorists lobbed a grenade at an Army convoy on Monday in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir injuring 13 civillians.
The convoy was on its way to Srinagar from Baramulla, when the attack took place at Pattan main market around 1235 hrs IST.
However, the grenade missed the target and instead landed on a roadside near a bus stand injuring 13 civillians.
The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital. Two of them are reportedly in a serious condition.
Security has been stepped up in Kashmir and other parts of India ahead of the Republic Day.
No terrorist outfit has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
