The girl alleged that the accused raped her on July 9 and she was suffering from trauma for the last one week.
New Delhi: A man has been arrested for sexually assaulting a kabaddi player by posing as a coach.
The accused has been identified as Naresh Dahiya.
In her complaint, the girl alleged that she met the 30-year-old accused, who claimed to be a coach, at the Chhatrasal Stadium in the capital. She had approached the police on Tuesday and a case was registered.
The girl alleged that the accused raped her on July 9 and threatened her with dire consequences if she revealed the incident to anyone.
The police said the girl could not provide the details of the accused. A police team will visit the stadium on Wednesday to scan the attendance register in order to obtain some clues about the accused.
