4 killed as car crushes workers in Delhi

New Delhi: Four people have been killed and four others injured in New Delhi after a Honda City car steered out of control crushing labourers at work. The main accused in the hit and run case has been absconding after the accident, but two others people who were in the car were apprehended by the public and handed over to Delhi Police.

The accident occurred near the Safdarjung airport flyover at 2:30 am on Monday.

Police have found some liquor bottles inside the vehicle and suspect that the driver of the car was drunk. Police say the accused, who is reportedly in his early 20s, lives in Mehrauli area of Delhi and a team has been sent to arrest him.
