6 of a family killed in car-bus smash

TIRUPUR: Six of a family were killed when their car collided head-on with a Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) bus near Dharapuram on Sunday.According to police, R Hariharasudan, an industrialist of Tirupur was returning home with with five other family members by car on Sunday from Dindigul. When they were nearing a junction at Dharapuram, a Tirupur-bound TNSTC bus from Theni district collided with the car.In the mishap, Hariharasudan, his younger brother Balachandaran, his mother Kalavathi, his wife Sudha, his 3-year-old son Pranav Kannan and four-month-old son were killed on the spot. On information Dhrarapuram DSP Kandhasamy rushed to spot with a team and recovered the bodies. The bodies were sent to Dharapuram government hospital. The Kundadam police have registered a case and are investigating.
