Anti-Child Labour Day exhibition

KOCHI: As part of the Anti-child Labour Day observance, Theruvora Pravarthaka Association secretary S Murugan will organise a photo exhibition around the city on Sunday. He will organise a mobile exhibition of children’s pictures, which include 50 snap shots of the orphaned children rescued by the Theruvora Pravarthaka Association.The exhibition will be inaugurated by Delhi NSU general secretary Chandy Oommen at Menaka Junction at 3 pm. R K Damodaran and former Women’s Commission member Monamma Kokkad will also participate. The attempt is to remind the government of the necessary steps to rescue the children involved in child labour and beggary, Murugan said. A signature campaign will also be organised. as part of the programme.
