BHUBANESWAR: Principal of Sainik School here Captain (IN) KS Noor was given Professional Excellence Award-2011 in the field of education at a function here. The award was given away for outstanding contribution for all-round development of the school.The function, organised by All India Small and Medium Newspapers Editor’s Council and Information and Public Relations Department, was held here recently to mark National Press Day.The award was presented by Finance Minister Prafulla Ghadei.Noor had earlier been awarded State-level Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhawana Award 2010 and got commendation from the Chief of the Naval Staff for his contribution in the field of Education.Sainik School, established in 1962, is celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year.
