London: A retired nurse has claimed she watched Jimmy Savile, a former DJ and TV presenter best known for his BBC show Jim'll Fix It, molesting a vulnerable young woman hospital patient.
Savile died, aged 88, in October 2011.
June Thornton, now 80, said while working as a porter she saw Savile kissing and groping the woman who she believed was recovering from neurosurgery, Daily Express reported on Saturday.
The former York Hospital nurse has demanded stripping him of his knighthood.
Thornton's claims came as another North Yorkshire woman said she was touched inappropriately by Savile in a lift at the hospital in 1973. The woman, now 55, said she was 16 at the time.
A growing number of victims have come forward to allege that Savile sexually assaulted them after five women participated in an ITV documentary claiming they had been abused.
In the film, screened on Wednesday, the alleged victims accused Savile of sexually assaulting them, some while on BBC premises.
Over 40 women and a man, a school tutor, have made allegations against the Jim'll Fix It star.
Savile was also known for being the first and last presenter of the long-running BBC music chart show Top of the Pops.
The BBC boss has urged staff for coming forward if they have any information about alleged sexual abuses by Savile, Sky news reported.
Director general George Entwistle said in an email: "I wanted to write to you at the end of what has been a difficult week for the BBC, following allegations from a number of women that Jimmy Savile sexually abused them when they were young teenagers during the 1960s and 1970s.
"Like everyone who works here, I was appalled by the things I saw in the ITV documentary.
"I am determined that the corporation will do absolutely everything it can to help find out what happened."
