BANGALORE: The High Court recalled the non-bailable warrant (NBW) issued against V Krishna Bhat, former chairman of Vishwa Bharati House Building Cooperative Society Limited (VBHBCSL), after the city police produced him before the court on Monday.Bhat was brought in an ambulance in the morning and later he was brought to the court hall in a wheelchair.Doctors of Apollo Hospital, Bangalore, submitted a medical report stating that the accused Bhat, needs one week of complete bed rest, as he was suffering from various health problems.The division bench comprising Justices N Kumar and Ravi Malimath, after hearing the request of the accused, recalled the NBW and approved the request.Bhat is facing charges of allotting sites violating rules and regulations when he was the chairman of the society, between 1985 to 2009.The High Court had issued a nonbailable warrant (NBW) against him and had directed the city police to produce him on Monday.
