Bid to rob SBI ATM foiled

HYDERABAD: An attempt to break an unguarded SBI ATM at Nalgonda crossroads was foiled by alert passersby late on Thursday night. One of the three miscreants was caught by locals while two others fled, police said.Finding the trio trying to break open the ATM, passersby gathered and tried to nab them after alerting police but by then, offenders also grew suspicious and tried to flee.However, passersby managed to nab one of them and handed them over to the Chaderghat police. The trio damaged the CC cameras inside the ATM chamber and tried to break open the cash chest.
