Biker candidate is best

RAMACHANDRAPURAM(EAST GODAVARI):  Barnstorming this part of the state, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu took a look at all the candidates in the fray for the June 12 byelection and ruled that Chikkala Ramachandra Rao is the best bet because he still  travels on a bicycle despite having been a five-time MLA  and a minister for two terms.In comparison, YSR Congress candidate Pilli Subhash Chandra Bose is involved in the sand mafia and played a part in the home guards recruitment scam, Naidu alleged. As for the Congress candidate Thota Trimurthulu,  he said the man is notorious for his role in ‘private settlements’.Naidu was dismissing of his rivals’ claims to integrity. He said Jagan has links with criminals and was involved in the murder of  TDP workers; chief minister Kiran Reddy has kept mum on the red sanders smuggling going on in his Piler Assembly constituency; and PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana’s role in liquor syndicates was going to be unravelled until the chief minister meddled with an Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) probe to shield  the PCC chief. He demanded that all  ministers in the Kiran Reddy cabinet who are facing corruption charges should resign.  “If they do not do so on their own, the chief minister should dismiss them and prove that he  has the guts to punish the corrupt,” Naidu demanded.Naidu said  the TDP would continue its fight against corruption to develop the state. Alleging that the Congress has destabilised all constitutional institutions,  he said the comproller and audiotor-general and the judiciary were trying to set things right in the state.
