B'wood does not discriminate: Amitabh Bachchan
The actors feels that the industry fosters the spirit of brotherhood.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, whose upcoming film Aarakshan deals with the issue of reservation, says Bollywood fosters the spirit of brotherhood and there is "no discrimination" in the Hindi film industry.

"I am lucky to be a part of this industry which does not believe in any kind of reservation. It actually brings people together," said Bachchan, who was in the national capital today to promote Aarakshan with the entire star cast.

The 68-year-old actor, who is portraying the role of a college principal in the upcoming socio-political drama, insists even film-goers display the spirit of "equality". "The best example can be of the thousands of people who go and watch our films. While enjoying a film, one never thinks to which caste and religion the next person in the theatre belongs to.

"In fact, everybody sit together in one place and enjoy the film together. They cry for the same reason, laugh at the same joke and sing the same songs," added Bachchan. Directed by Prakash Jha, Aarakshan, which also stars

Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Manoj Bajpai and Prateik Babbar, is set to hit the theatres on 12th August.
