Howrah: In a horrific incident, a Railway Police Force (RPF) personnel thrashed a physically challenged beggar at the Howrah station in West Bengal.
According to eyewitnesses, the RPF personnel had ordered the man to move out of the station. However, when he did not move out, the RPF personnel brutally thrashed him.
The passengers present at the station claimed that they saved the physically challenged man from the RPF personnel and handed them over to the station staff present at the spot. Though the man was admitted to a local hospital after suffering injuries, he is not there anymore. There is no information of where he went missing overnight.
The victim is a resident of Delhi who had gone to Kolkata to attend a fair.
Even as the incident has been caught on camera, RPF is yet to identity the officer and take action against him.
