Central Railway to Run 222 Special Trains on Occasion of Ganesh Utsav, Check Details Here
The Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of Central Railway announces that 20 more Ganpati special train services would be run in addition to the 202 Ganpati special train services already announced. This is a great news for those who wants to go home to attend Ganesh Chaturthi but was not getting reservation. But starting from this Wednesday everyone will get confirmed tickets in these trains.

Ganesh Utsav is on the cards and everyone knows about the pomp and the grand nature of the celebrations in Maharashtra. It is often found that the people who want to visit the state for the celebrations or migrants who want to go to their home states during this period are unable to do so because of the high rush for train reservations.

To ease the process, Central Railway has decided to start ‘Ganpati special trains’ from many cities of Maharashtra for the convenience of passengers. Reservation in these trains is going to start from Wednesday, and now the certainty of the getting confirmed tickets increases.

The CPRO of the Central Railway announced that in addition to the 202 Ganpati special train services, which were already announced, it has been decided to run 20 more Ganpati special train services. During the upcoming Ganpati festival, a total of 222 Ganpati special train services will run for Ganpati devotees so far. The Ganpati special train services schedule as :

Mumbai-Ratnagiri Special Train

On September 6, 7, 13 and 14, LTT Mumbai-Ratnagiri Bi-weekly Special Train (8 services)- 01031 Special train will depart from LTT Mumbai at 8:00 hours and arrive at Ratnagiri at 04:50 hours the next day.

On September 7, 8, 14 and 15, 01032 Special train will depart from Ratnagiri at 08:40 am and will reach LTT Mumbai at 5:15 pm on the same day. This train will stop at Thane, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Karanjadi, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road and Sangameshwar Road station .

Panvel-Ratnagiri Weekly Special Train

On September 8 and 15, Panvel-Ratnagiri Weekly Special- 01443 Special train will depart from Panvel at 04:40 hours and reach Ratnagiri at 11:50 hours on the same day.

On September 7 and 14, 01444 Special will depart from Ratnagiri at 17:50 hours and reach Panvel at 01:30 hours on the next day. This train will stop at Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Karanjadi, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road and Sangameshwar Road station.

Pune-Ratnagiri Weekly Special Train

On September 7, and 14, Pune-Ratnagiri Weekly Special- 01447 Special train will depart from Pune at 00:25 hours and reach Ratnagiri at 11:50 hours on the same day.

On September 8 and 15, 01448 special train will depart from Ratnagiri at 5:50 pm and will reach Pune at 05:00 pm the next day. This train will stop at Chinchwad, Talegaon, Lonavala, Kalyan, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Karanjadi, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravalli Road and Sangameshwar Road.

Panvel-Ratnagiri Special Train

On September 11, Panvel-Ratnagiri Weekly Special Train- 01441 special train will depart from Panvel at 04:40 pm and reach Ratnagiri at 11:50 am the same day.

On September 10, 01442 special train will depart from Ratnagiri at 5:50 pm and reach Panvel at 01:30 pm the next day. This train will stop at Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Karanjadi, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravalli Road and Sangameshwar Road.

On September 10, Pune-Ratnagiri Weekly Special Train- 01445 special train will depart from Pune at 00:25 and reach Ratnagiri at 11:50 the same day.

On September 11, 01446 special train will depart from Ratnagiri at 5:50 and reach Pune the next day at 05:00. This train will stop at Chinchwad, Talegaon, Lonavala, Kalyan, Panvel, Pen, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Karanjadi, Khed, Chiplun, Sawarda, Aravali Road and Sangameshwar Road.
