The proposals seeking industrial packages for Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand are under consideration of the Centre and a decision will soon be taken in this regard, he said.
The minister was talking to reporters at the Jollygrant airport on his way back from Sitarganj where he laid the foundation of a spicepark.
Capital investment subsidy and freight subsidy will be the two salient provisions of this package, Sharma said. The minister did not specify the time-frame for giving industrial packages to the two Himalayan states.
