CM is behaving irresponsibly: Jeeva

HYDERABAD: Former minister T Jeevan Reddy said that after Kiran Kumar Reddy had taken over as chief minister, head-on clashes between regions, groups and individuals in the Congress had begun.Speaking to media at the assembly here on Monday he said, though Kiran Kumar Reddy belongs to the Reddy caste, he had failed to attract members of the Reddy community. He opined that the chief minister was now unnecessarily criticising YSRC chief Jagan Mohan Reddy.He also condemned the chief minister’s comments regarding the  formation of the Telangana state. He said the chief minister seems bent on encouraging Rayalaseema leaders to pass comments against Jagan. Some of the Rayalaseema leaders had charged that if one voted for Jagan, it would be a vote for the bifurcation of the state.Jeevan Reddy found fault with Chief minister’s behaviour. He said that the chief minister, who is supposed to boost the confidence of cadre for the byelections was rather demoralising them. He asked the chief minister, that if they do not win seats at the byelections, how could they hope to win the 2014 elections. He charged that Kiran Kumar Reddy was not acting in a responsible manner.Jeevan Reddy also said that if the chief minister would have given a favourable report on the issue of Telangana statehood to the Congress high command, the bypolls would not have taken place in Telangana.
