Daily wagers son bags 8th position

JAJPUR: Daily wager’s son Premnath Behera has bagged the eighth position in the HSC examination. Behera (16), a student of Ishaneswari High school at Ishanapur under Bari block, has secured 575 marks out of 600. He studied for seven to eight hours daily. “I want to pursue an engineering degree from IIT,” he said. Premnath attributed his success to his parents and schoolteachers. He is planning to do his Plus-II Science from BJB Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar. Premnath’s father Raghunath Behera is a daily labourer and works in Patna.
