Delhi acid attack: Cops set to arrest 'the other woman'
Sources tell CNN-IBN that Delhi police have enough evidence to nail Rachna.

The investigations into Delhi acid attack have zeroed in on Rachna Brahmvar, the colleague of victim Tarveen Suri’s husband.

Sources tell CNN-IBN that Delhi police have enough evidence to nail Rachna and that arrest could be made “anytime now.”

Thirty-four-year-old Rachna, a colleague of Naveen Suri, was questioned by Delhi police on Monday after Suri allegedly accepted that he was in a relationship with Rachna.

Tarveen's relatives allege that she had been receiving threatening phone calls for several days from Rachna. Her family also says she had complained about being followed.

“The police have not told us anything. The girl who is allegedly involved is out of town. Her involvement will be investigated only when she gets back,” victim's sister-in-law Sarika Bawa said.

Tarveen’s attackers had poured acid and kerosene on her and then tried to set her on fire on Saturday night.

Tarveen, a former teacher of fashion designing, is admitted in Delhi's Safadarjung Hospital with 80 per cent burns and is in a critical condition.

By Tuesday evening, the police also released a sketch of one of the accused believed to have thrown petrol on Tarveen and then set her ablaze.

The sketch is based on the descriptions given by Tarveen herself and some people who claimed to have seen the motorcycle-borne assailants.
