New Delhi: With the ICC Champions Trophy cricket matches in full swing, Delhi Police on Friday busted an illegal betting racket, the second in two days, with the arrest of three people.

Police raided a house in Rohini area in northwest Delhi on a tip-off and arrested the three people while they were allegedly engaged in large-scale betting on the Champions Trophy match between South Africa and Pakistan.

The amount involved was Rs 20 lakh.

"One automatic voice recorder, one colour TV with remote, four mobile phones and two notebooks were recovered from them, which were being used in betting," police said in a statement Saturday.

A case was filed under Sections 3, 4 and 5 of the Gambling Act at the Prashant Vihar police station. The accused have been identified as Subhash Chander, Raj Kumar and Kamal Kumar.

The first betting racket was also busted in Rohini and involved the match between India and the West Indies.

A similar raid in nearby Shalimar Bagh on October 15 - when India were playing England - led to the arrest of two people, both in their mid-twenties.
