Deputy mayor wants a slum-free city

HYDERABAD: Deputy mayor Raj Kumar told Express that he will strive for a clean, green and slum-free city by taking the support of all the political parties and citizens.“I want to make sure that Metro Rail works are taken on and see that public transport is within the reach of the common man. The metro rail will contribute towards reducing air pollution and traffic congestion  in the city,” he added.“Modernisation of storm water drains including Hussainsagar Surplus nala, development of parks and playgrounds will be my  top priority,” he concluded.
