Devotees throng Aurobindo Ashram

PUDUCHERRY: Thousands of devotees from across the globe thronged the Sri Aurobindo Ashram here on Monday to celebrate the 139th birth anniversary of the spiritual leader.  Long queues were witnessed at the entrance of the ashram as the room used by Sri Aurobindo and the Mother were thrown open to the public. A meditation camp was also organised. The town witnessed a heavy influx of tourists due to the extended weekend and almost all accommodations were full.
