New Delhi: It appears that Google is no longer doing a good job at keeping the veil of secrecy around its upcoming devices. The recently-launched Nexus 5 made an unannounced appearance in a video shot during the Android KitKat lawn statue unveiling at the Google headquarters, and Google accidentally gives an early glance of what is presumed to be the next-gen Nexus tablet, dubbed the Nexus 8.
Alongside the launch of Android 4.4 KitKat a few days back, Google also revamped its promotional website, Android.com, wherein an image of a woman holding an unknown tablet was spotted under the "Apps & Entertainment" section. The tablet in question has a relatively thinner bezel and a slightly larger screen. Speculations are rife that it is the next Nexus tablet that is expected to come with an 8-inch display.
Google later replaced the image featuring an unknown tablet with a similar image, but the new image has a Nexus 7 tablet instead. (See image to spot the obvious difference.)
