Enrol by May 15 to vote

HYDERABAD: The Election Commission has decided to give a chance to new voters to exercise their franchise in the ensuing bypolls slated for June 12.At a media conference on Sunday, chief electoral officer (CEO) Bhanwarlal said that those voters who enrolled their names before May 15 would be eligible to cast their votes for the bypolls. He said around 2,000 new voters have enrolled in each Assembly segment so far in the state.The Election Commission has decided to hold an all-party meeting on May 17 with the representatives of all political parties in the state to discuss poll code and other issues, the CEO said.
