Mohan Bagan will face Churchill Brothers in a quarter-final match of the 28th Peerless Federation Cup.

New Delhi: Kolkata club Mohun Bagan booked their place in the last eight of the 28th Peerless Federation Cup in Kolkata on Thursday routing Viva Kerala 4-1.

The Kerala club failed to match the class and skill of the Bagan players as Bhaichung Bhutia and Mehtab Hossain scored two goals each.

The only goal of Viva Kerala, who are playing the Federation cup for the first time, was scored by Baba.

In the other match Churchill Brothers got the better of Air India 3-0 to advance to the quarter-finals.

The African players of the Goan club - George Ekeh and Odafe Okolie - scored two and one goal respectively to sent Air India home early.

Mohan Bagan will face Churchill Brothers in a quarter-final match on December 24.

In the first quarter-final on Friday Mahindra United face Mohammedan Sporting while the second match will see Sporting Clube de Goa play Salgaocar.
