HYDERABAD: The key accused in Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) and former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy and his brother-in-law B V Srinivas Reddy filed fresh petitions in the special CBI court on Thursday seeking return of their seized chopper and luxurious cars.
Stating that they purchased the chopper for 25 lakh dollars through bank loan, they stated in the petition that they were paying Rs 3 crore instalments to the banks. The seized chopper was registered on Gali Janardhan Reddy's name while cars were registered on Srinivas Reddy's name. Later, the CBI court magistrate B Naga Maruthi Sharma posted the hearing on the petitions to February 13.
