Gitam online counselling begins

VISAKHAPATNAM: GITAM University online admission counselling for B Tech programmes started in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Hyderabad and Tirupathi centres on Saturday Admissions will continue till June 14 and GITAM Admission Test -2011 (GAT) rankers with 60 per cent marks in group subjects are only eligible for this counselling.Vice-chancellor of the university G Subramanyam handed over admission cards to newly admitted candidates and said that they will be exposed to renowned industries as GITAM has signed MoU’s with TCS, IBM, Ericson India, HPCL, WIPRO, NSTL and other major industries.Many students opted for mechanical engineering and the second most favoured option was ECE.
