Governor snubbed Yogeshwar

BANGALORE: Governor Hans Raj Bhardwaj on Saturday said he refused to meet Forest Minister C P Yogeshwar, whose firm is alleged to have cheated investors. Yogeshwar had visited the Raj Bhavan on Friday, presumably to present his side of the story. Bhardwaj said he did not have the jurisdiction to take individual action against ministers. “I told Yogeshwar that his case was being investigated by Serious Fraud Investigations Office. So I asked him to consult his Chief Minister,” he said.  “It is up to the CM to set standards of governance,” Bhardwaj said.
