New Delhi: The Gurdaspur terror attack is unlikely to come in the way of talks with Pakistan. According to sources, the NSA level talks between India and Pakistan are on track and are likely to be held in the second half of August.

Sources say, the talks will focus on Pakistan-sponsored terror. A decision on the NSA level talks was taken when Prime Minister Modi met his Pakistani counterpart Nawaz Sharif in Russia in June.

India has maintained that it wants good relationship and peace with everyone. The neighbouring country has sought to take the credit for re-initiation of dialogue between the two countries, claiming it was the Sharif administration who proposed NSA-level talks in Ufa, Russia.
