HB Halli Bandh peaceful

BELLARY: The BJP-sponsored Hagaribommana Halli bandh, against the arrest of G Janardhana Reddy, passed off peacefully without any untoward incidents here on Wednesday.The bandh did not impact normal life, as schools and colleges and business establishments remained open, and buses and autos were seen plying on the road.BJP leaders, who held the protest rally here in the morning, alleged that the Congress-led UPA government had hatched a conspiracy to destabilise the BJP government in Karnataka. They held Sonia Gandhi responsible and raised slogans against her and the UPA.
