New Delhi: We all know how protective the entire Bachchan clan is of Aishwarya Rai. Time and again, the family has spoken on the actress' behalf. But a recent incident involving Jaya Bachchan left many media persons scratching their head for an answer.
At Subhash Ghai's wife, Rehana's birthday party almost the entire Bollywood turned up to wish her. Jaya Bachchan came with her daughter-in-law, Aishwarya. When the Bachchan ladies entered the premise, media persons went crazy clicking Ash.
While the two were entering, the paparazzi called out Aishwarya's name to get her attention so that she would pose for them. But instead of Ash, her ma-in-law, Jaya Bachchan retorted "Aishwarya kya hota hai, huh? Is she your school friend?"
The person in question simply chuckled at her mother-in-law's reaction and ushered her inside.
Few months earlier, Abhishek had asked the press to not call his wife "Ash" but instead "Aishwarya" and now the actor's mother has asked the media not call her by her name.
So the question is, how does one call your bahurani, Mrs Bachchan? Aishwarya ji or Junior Mrs Bachchan?
