Children are sometimes referred to as being avatar of the gods, because of their honesty and helping nature. Two children from Hyderabad proved this right once again. Their wholesome gesture has been winning the hearts of many. Vedant and Isani came to visit the Pench Tiger Reserve in Seoni, Madhya Pradesh, with their family, from Hyderabad. While visiting the zoo, they roamed around the place, observing the behaviour of the staff and the management. The two children were very impressed with their behaviour, and decided to do something heartfelt for them. They used the pictures they took at the tiger reserve and made an informative 2024 calendar out of it, with some financial help from their family and others.

They sold the calendar; from the money collected through it, they bought sweaters for the employees and staff at the tiger reserve. According to reports, they were able to collect around Rs 2 lakh from the calendars sold. The deputy director of the Pench Tiger Reserve commended this wholesome gesture by the two children.

The calendar they printed has all the important and interesting information about the tiger reserve, featuring the impressive shots of the tigers. The kids did not forget to write a message on the importance of tiger conservation in the calendar text.

The Pench Tiger Reserve or the Pench National Park is one of the most famous animal parks in the country, situated in the Seoni and Chhindwara districts, in Madhya Pradesh. It is important to mention that some of the most famous works of Rudyard Kipling, The Jungle Book and The Second Jungle Book, are set in this very reserve.
