ID proof must for train travel after February 15

HYDERABAD: If you are travelling by train after Feb. 15, it would be wise to carry your ID proof with you. In original. With effect from that day, passengers who have booked their tickets on the internet or the Passenger Reservation System will be asked to furnish ID proof. The railways has listed nine documents as valid proof of identity: voter ID card, passport, PAN card, diving licence, photo ID card issued by central or state governments; student ID car, passbook of a nationalised bank, bank credit card with a laminated photograph, Unique ID card or Aadhaar card.
