New Delhi: Pakistan has said India has no evidence to back its assertions about Islamabad's involvement in the 7/11 Mumbai blasts and dismissed it as "propaganda".

A day after National Security Advisor M K Narayanan told CNN-IBN that India has "pretty good" evidence of Pakistan's involvement in the Mumbai blasts, Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesperson Tasnim Aslam said, "It is a propagandist statement as they have no evidence whatsoever".

"If they have any evidence they should furnish it, then we will take action," she was quoted as saying by The Nation newspaper.

Narayanan had said that the evidence against ISI's involvement in the Mumbai blasts would be shared with Pakistan after “certain legal issues” are clarified.

Reacting sharply to Narayanan’s statements, Aslam said, “There is a tendency that the Indian government accuses Pakistan for every incident taking place in India without any evidences”.

Meanwhile, India has said that it will share intelligence with Pakistan under the joint anti-terror mechanism only if New Delhi sees a “great deal” of cooperation from the neighbouring country.

Narayanan said India will never adopt a soft stand against Pakistan on terrorism and New Delhi will call off the controversial joint mechanism to deal with the menace if Islamabad persistently refused to cooperate in terror cases, including the July 11 Mumbai blasts.

After Narayanan told CNN-IBN that India had strong, but not clinching evidence against ISI in the 7/11 Mumbai serial blasts, Defence Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Monday admitted that ISI has increased its activities in the country.

“We are aware of the fact that ISI has increased its activities in the country and sometimes we do arrest the moles in various organisations. If it is the Army this time, we’ll have to ensure that such type of incidents do not happen,” Mukherjee said.
