The much-talked about film 'Salaam Kashmir' has got its NOC from the army officials. The movie, which was expected to be released in September, but it was postponed multiple times due to the delay in acquiring the NOC. But, the team got clearance from the Ministry of Defence. 'Salaam Kashmir' features Jayaram, Suresh Gopi and Mia George in pivotal roles. Directed by Joshiy, the film has scenes which have been shot in Kashmir.
While the first half of the film deals with the lead character's family life, the second half includes sequences set against the military backdrop. Going by what scriptwriter Sethu had said, the movie was shot at the military camps in Kashmir and features a few military officers and chiefs.
Sethu also said that 'Salaam Kashmir' is a patriotic film which revolves around the story of Sreekumar, and how the entry of the character of Suresh Gopi upsets his peaceful family life.
