Srinagar: Minor clashes broke out in Maisuma in Jammu and Kashmir after the Jammu & Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) tried to take out a rally in locality.
The rally was being taken out to commemorate the death anniversary of the party's founder Maqbool Bhat who was executed in 1984 over the killing of an Indian diplomat.
The clashes took place when the police tried to stop the procession. The JKLF has called for a day-long strike in the area.
